Moving
Warp subspaced the last of his belongings and looked around the room. Now that his stuff was gone, the suite looked a lot cleaner. Heād never really noticed how messy he was.
He moved to the shelving unit and ran his hand along the empty shelf. He was still missing a music disk or two, butā¦.
He lowered his helm and turned away. Turning back to the main part of the room, he paced back over to Thundercrackerās desk. Pausing, he reached out and brushed his digits lightly over the sculpture of Vos sitting on the corner of his desk.
āIām sorry. I shouldnāt have opened my mouth last year. If I hadnāt⦠youād still be happy.ā His hand dropped off the sculpture. āI should have been there for you as a friend and nothing else. Because thatās what you needed. I just screwed everything up - I screwed our trine up, I screwed our friendship up.ā He unsubspaced a datapad and laid it on the desk. āYouāre still my trinemate,ā he murmured. āEven if I couldnāt be what you wanted, Iāll still be that, and your friend. There's a place for you in Darkmount - if you decide to come. And... I know you probably don't want it, but... there will always be a piece of my spark that belongs to you. I'm just sorry that I couldn't... that I'm not brave enough to say this face to face.ā
He let his hand rest for one long moment on the datapad containing the letter that said the same things, before stepping away from the desk. Taking one final long look around, Warp set the coordinates for Darkmount and triggered his warp drive.
