Metal's got Hanahaki, but because he's a robot, it's not as lethal as it is for organic beings. He could go forever without confessing, as long as he performs regular maintenance to cut away the excess vines of ivy, but if he lets it go just a little too long... well.

Reminder to anyone who hasn't taken the survey yet, and introduction of said survey to anyone who hasn't heard of it yet- Sega posted a survey link on their twitter (here's the post- https://mobile.twitter.com/SEGA/status/1275518993722474499 ) for us fans to fill out, and this is an important step they're taking towards listening to us rather than the critics, so I'd like as many people to fill it out as they can. Metonic: Love the vibes, love the character development, absolutely stunning. I could honestly go on forever about these two, but I'll keep it brief, because otherwise I may eventually devolve into the rambling gibberish of a madman with a mobile corkboard, plenty of paper, and lots of string.

Sonlise: I'm not a huge fan of Sonic being shipped with human characters, and of course the infamous kiss scene is infamous for a reason. However, I can see the intended relationship arc between them and on its own, it's not terrible. Could be better, could be worse.

Light Drive: I've never encountered this ship in the wild before but it sounds interesting. Two powerful deities who could destroy the world by themself, let alone with each other. Solaris is undoubtedly the more powerful of the two, so the power imbalance dynamic could be played off of, assuming Chaos cares enough about it. I imagine that Solaris would probably see Chaos as more of an amusing pet than anything else at first, though over time they could consider each other as equals in an identity sense if not in power, maybe. It depends on how the author characterizes them.

Mephiblis: This is also a ship I haven't seen much of before, but at a glance, it has some decent potential. Considering that Mephiles and Iblis are two halves of a whole and have a built-in fusion au, it's pretty appealing. However, there is the characterization of Iblis in particular that dampens things- Iblis is supposed to be the mindless power and instincts of Solaris, with Mephiles being the one with all of the cunning and intelligence of Solaris. As such, it's difficult to say that Iblis would even be capable of understanding a relationship, and a relationship can't really be mutual when one party doesn't comprehend the fact that it's a relationship at all. If Iblis was more intelligent though, I could see a nerd/jock thing going on maybe? Once again, this ship depends on how the author characterizes them.

Crackship Solaris x Sonic (I'm calling it Sonaris/Solaric now): As with Light Drive, there is an inherent power imbalance to be played off of here, in that Solaris needs to be defeated in multiple times simultaneously and Sonic can only go for one at a time. However, I'd say that Sonic and Solaris are closer in power than Chaos and Solaris are, so Solaris would probably be more aware of Sonic as an intelligent entity rather than a glorified pet. It's important to consider that Mephiles is part of Solaris, and how he killed Sonic in order to allow Solaris to exist, so there's some built-in angst there, though Solaris is different from Mephiles and Iblis in that they are basically a fusion. So, while this is a crackship, there's actually a lot to explore. Good luck anon, have fun with your RP xD
