WEDNESDAY'S WEEKLY POETRY PROMPTS: 8/6/25

Well, here we are again... midweek... with the following prompts from the usual places:

This week, write a something hidden poem.

The hidden thing could be a physical object, like treasure, a passport, or a letter (from a friend or enemy).  Of course, not everything hidden has to be physical; people frequently hide their feelings, intentions, and real thoughts on situations.  So consider what could be hidden and bring it into the light with a poem.

-when they were children, but he will also dance with her in the future (anon=soon). Berric’s description of not remembering things well when he came back suggests it will happen with Jon as well. There is a theme here of Jon and Sansa’s memories being foggy, and especially the ones connected to each other. Sansa says she hasn’t thought of Jon in ages, yet she completely modeled Alayne after him. Jon sees Arya in Ygritte and Alys, yet he so painfully obviously ignores the Sansa in them-

Chapter 1: Beginning of an Era

2186 AD:-

“The Head is born, the Head is born", as all the members exclaimed with joy. It has been 90 years since the next head is selected for the Clark family.

The Clark family is one of the most powerful families in the world. The current head is Nirve Clark, the Demon King.

Nobody was able to reach the power level of 5000, not even powerful magicians. But Nirve and new-born head has the power level of 100000.

His name is Michio. Michio Clark.

All were happy to see this new moment for the Clark family except two.

His parents. The one who nurtured him till now.  The one who should be the happiest for his birth. The one who should be proud for this.

They were not happy. He is hated by the most famous scientist who gave answers to many mysteries and found a perfect way of cloning and a powerful magician. She is an example of true feminine beauty

The most famous scientist, who gave birth to him, now hates him.

Hate, shame, envy and many more feelings which could not be described was filled in her hearts.

But his father has no hate for him. He is just sad.

Sad because he has to suffer. He will suffer from this twisted reality. He will live differently from his two sisters. Just to become the best. The best of all yet cannot be best in front of his mother’s eyes. Forever for his entire eyes.

He can see the hate in his wife’s eyes. Why does it have to be him? Why I can’t it be me? Many questions were roaming in her mind.

She decided to abandon him. Abandon him to his life because she can’t stand him anymore. Or kill him.

Her husband has no option. He cannot speak against his wife. His wife is one of the most powerful magician while he is just a mere magician.

He was forced to be with her. Because of a grave mistake he did in the past. His wife saved him and told him to marry or his life will be in danger.

His wife decided to kill the heir the next day.

Angry because he does not have a choice, only alcohol was left for him.

At midnight, he was drunk and started to think of his life choices. Then, he felt sober.

Only one thought in his mind, run away with his son.

The heir could not found at the palace. The full family was missing.

No one knew where they went. Some said they were killed while some said they ran away.

“The heir of the Clark Family is missing”, is written in the front page of every newspaper.

Nobody found them. Everybody gave up.

But, Nirve knew that they will come back one day.

Sooner or Later.

They will come one day.

And he will be the next head.

I looked at you, amused at the stories you tell. You seem so into it so I listened attentively. You told me a story and warned me about it. I told you with firmness in my voice, "I'm not that kind of girl". You paused and continued with another story, of finding happiness in endings. I'm sure, I'm more fitting in that category.

I looked at you, no longer amused but wondering. Why did you warn me of that? It's clear now, you still haven't figured out what you like, what you love, and when you want to start your life. I, however, have a vision. A clear idea of what I aspire my life to be. If, by any chance, you decide to stop then I would gladly understand.
