Rocky complaining about how loud Graceβs leaky space blob body is. When his feet hit the ground the sound vibrates on rocks carapace, when Grace digests food the churning makes Rocky flee from the sound.
Rocky eventually learns to put up with it, to accept Grace as he is and be done with it. Even if the sounds rub him the wrong way.
Until one day Grace is makes new, quieter sounds.
In comparison, heβs almost silent. The long trip back to Erid making him clumsy and unable to stand for long periods of time until heβs confined to his bed, barely moving at all. The sounds he does make are low gurgles of pain, fluid leaking from his mouth.
Rocky wishes he never took his lively sounds for granted after that.
