Fun fact about the new chapter : The reason why it have such a long part with Maester Gregor and talk of restrictions on the Clergy on Naerys' lands is because when Ada wrote the section, it was too uncomfortably close to the conversion schools and other "lovely" things by Christians to expand Christianity.
Since it goes against the intended angle for how Naerys act with the clans, I introduced Maester Gregor of the North and his personal guard, despite being the maester of the castle, since Naerys basically still live at the Eyrie and is young, there's missing proper staff such as master at arms, Castellan, steward, so Gregor act as enforcer of Naerys' will and Castellan, and Naerys' knights know she trust him.
And children learning of the north and being fascinated by this region of the same faith as their's yet so different is endearing, and it show how unlike Leonyra, Naerys have a Maester.
I also added practical reasons for why Naerys accepted the religious presence for the Stone Crows' youth, she was basically bribed, both in terms of money and because she need personal to actually teach.
Though again, they still made a public holy vow, so they could have been kicked out, but having multiple crisis because of needing to kick out septons and septas wouldn't be good.
And that's where Gregor really shine because without him, soft conversions would have happened.
The last thing Naerys want to is destroy a culture, but she's only one person and with serious limits on her powers despite what her dragon indicate.
