Gerhard Richter made his breakthrough painting, Tisch/Table (1962), based on a photo of Ignazio Gardella's T4 Tavolo in a 1956 issue of Domus magazine, which he partially erased with solvent. This T4 was made in the 1970s and sold in 2022.
