The field teams (Moons) that weren’t elite enough to make it into another department, and two-member teams (Comets) trained to find natural-born knacked people, also fall under their umbrella. 

As a result, Uranus agents are often looked down on or pitied as if those jobs aren’t keenly essential (but trust us, they are). The name doesn’t help.

Notable members Head of Uranus: Nancy Wallace. She’s held this position for a long time and is well respected. Nancy is a telepath. Uranus’ Second: Marek del Sol Newly promoted and a little offbeat. Some would say even an odd choice as Marek is significantly more casual than Nancy. He’s a teleporter. Uranus’ Second First Best Pet: Baguette Marek’s beloved hamster and star of Baguette Updates.

Notable members Head of Pluto: Dr. Dakota del Sol As head of the Pluto department, Dakota manages all the medical branches. Her confidence, competence, and height can make her an intimidating presence. She’s a biological manipulator. Pluto’s Second: Dr. Simon del Sol Simon is also a biological manipulator. He’s a sweetheart, runs a knack-informed AA group, and probably has the best bedside manner of any doctor there.

Saturn is considered one of the two elite field agent departments. They carry themselves like it and have a healthy rivalry with Neptune. Due to the nature of their undercover work, Saturn tends to recruit agents who are well-suited to work alone.

Notable members Head of Saturn: Mackenzie Davis. Mackenzie Davis is known for her gravitas, presence, and zero tolerance for bullshit. She was naturally born with the knack of temporary omniscience, the ability to temporarily know Everything in the Universe. This knack is dangerous to use and yields too much disorganized information to be readily useful, but important tidbits can be gleaned with a lot of painstaking effort. Her husband is Rafe, head of Terre. Saturn’s Second (Analysis): Louis Solomon. Mackenzie’s protege, Louis has an excellent, but often by-the-book, approach to his intelligence work. He has an enhanced senses knack, allowing him to see and hear things a normal human couldn’t.  Saturn’s Third (Operations): Grace Diaz. Grace is often underestimated due to her appearance, but she uses it to her advantage enough to become the third ranked Saturn agent in Sol. She is omnilingual.  Fox del Sol.  A lazy, yet talented, Saturn field agent. Watch this space– he doesn’t show up until Arc 2.

Their Cleanup division protects knacked people from being discovered by the public by covering up any exposures.

Neptune’s Investigations division reviews internal misconduct.

The Retrieval division tracks down and apprehends Sol agents who have committed crimes or gone AWOL (SolCorp refers to these rogue agents as Icarus).

Reintegration is Neptune’s rehabilitation system meant to reform Icarus and return them to the company as agreeable, healthy, productive agents. Reintegration also conducts Integration on new, natural-born recruits, to help orient them to SolCorp’s world.

Notable Members Head of Neptune: Rich del Sol Rich is a telepath. He is in turns either completely serious or a little too humorous for what one would expect of Neptune. Freddie began her career in Retrieval before switching to Reintegration, which takes a stronger stomach. She has a light manipulation knack. Retrieval agent: Sage del Sol An agent who has no idea what is in store for him. His knack is sublimation.

Jupiter

Someone has to track all this money and that’s the Jupiter department. Jupiter is essentially the accounting department for Sol. They manage the budget, payroll, taxes, and all the hoops that need to be jumped through to keep agents able to interact with the world monetarily.  

Notable members Head of Jupiter: Aaron del Sol. Telepath. He’s mostly an off-screen figure for people to be mad at.

If assigned to be a foster, students are sent to live with approved Sol field teams to be trained and schooled out in the world. It’s Terre’s job to identify Sol teams (three to four agents in a house) who would be good candidates to ready a student for life in SolCorp, as well as continuing to monitor how things are going to ensure the students’ wellbeing. 

Terre has a wide range of agents, from administrators, teachers (often retired field agents), nursery workers, guidance counselors, and R.A.s who monitor the dorms. 

Notable members Head of Terre: Rafe del Sol  He began his career in the nursery and worked his way up through administration. He’s a bit of a softy and also happens to be the partner of the head of Saturn. He has a matter fusion knack. His wife is Mackenzie, head of Saturn. Terre’s Second (Vice Principal): Logan del Sol.  Logan was generated with a poison generation knack that had a hiccup and caused him to have aposematic coloration. Because of this, he can’t safely leave SolCorp grounds. Guidance Counselor: Darwin del Sol.  Resident cinnamon roll. Recently out of internship, Darwin is the bright-eyed and bushy-tailed counselor--literally. He has a shifter knack and can turn into a red panda.
