    This is the last thing she wants to do, but she’s getting more and more afraid, and her desperation is only climbing with her fear. Sleep has become near impossible and she isn’t sure if it’s the exhaustion or something else that has her struggling to think clearly, struggling to differentiate her memories from the all too vivid dreams.  

    She doesn’t announce her presence. In fact, her entire demeanor seems oddly quieter, “Oi, Elfy-” There’s a pause, visible discomfort passing across her face before she speaks up again, “Solas?” Already the use of his name is enough to show that something’s wrong, even if her exhaustion isn’t already written in every line of her face, even if her tone isn’t so much more uncertain and hesitant than she ever lets anyone hear. 

    She misses her friends, though Leliana most of all. But that’s the thing about a group brought together to save the world; there are responsibilities for all after the deed is done. Rin has served many of her own, but none are as important as this. 

    Rumor spreads from across Thedas; a cure for the blight, for the taint that she can feel more powerfully in her blood every day and hear screaming in her dreams. If she wants to live out her life with Leliana, she needs to find what can only be described as a miracle. 

    So she searches tirelessly, her travels taking her places where no one should be, where no one has been for centuries. And yet this time... This time there is someone in the old elven ruins.
