I’ve recently begun work on a vegan activism video. It will feature a song from Bright Eyes and be inspirational, emotionally heavy, but hopefully up-lifting. I’ll use found footage from famous youtubers Earhling Ed, Joey Carbstrong, James Aspey, and more. Wish me luck! Follow me on social media to get updates on everything I’m working on and my future activism. 

I have tons of solarpunk art I want to make in the coming months. (So stay tuned). But if we want solarpunk to spread we need lots of artists making solarpunk work. If you enjoy the idea or the look of solarpunk, even if you’ve never made anything before, consider making something in the genre! My Pinterest has everything you will ever need to get inspiration, find examples, and resources. There’s a Solarpunk Craft board if you’d like to try something more straightforward. There’s a Land art / Earthworks board that shows examples of this type of art if you’d like to try that. Try making a Nature Mandala or Danmala. Or try making something useful, like a DIY product/Natural Goods. There are doodles, Art Nouveau designs, Fashion designer tips, and Art Resources for making digital work. Make a miniature garden, a flower crown, or a terrarium. Try moss graffiti or guerrilla gardening, maybe make seed bombs! Make your own solarpunk jewelry, create a solarpunk makeup look, or upcycle clothes into solarpunk outfits. There’s also a board just for palettes inspired by nature to help you pick a color scheme! You could make a solarpunk inspired food dish, complete with edible flowers. Or try going out into the world and taking photos of things that ‘feel’ solarpunk to you. A beautiful cabin in the woods, nature coexisting in a city, a small garden on a rooftop or in someones apartment, a tiny flower poking up through the concrete, anything you like.
