The people of the forest plains played a game
The merchant was excited, incredibly excited, to get his hands on this game. Each copy was unique, and would never play quite the same way twice.
The game was composed of a deck, of two faced cards. Each player held a handful of cards, each representing a miracle the Raven brought to the world. It was a race game, the oldest kind. Each player controlled a child of the mayhavebeen raven, and they would race around the world, crossing over once, and the first home would become Emperor of the Birds. As he set out the carved weirwood pieces,he glanced up and noticed a fellow traveller sitting down with him. The merchant, politely, offered them tea, before asking - would you like to play?
Meet Lavender!! He’s a traveler for @tothesolarium Caravan Project!! He’s a magic user who focuses on fortunes and water based magic but he’s not an expert and is travelling to widen his understanding of the world. He’s in his 20′s and he’s a quiet lad who tends to only speak when spoken to. If anyone wants to know more about this lovely project, you can check it out here!!
Felt like it’d be fun to draw a Traveler so~ @wickedlemons I drew your lovely travelers Miuki and Hageshi. Enjoy my silly doodles and very bad hand writing
@solarcaravan
Another note floats down from the sky reading”
“How do you like
the caravan?
I find all the
people and not-people
wonderous!”
The feather dropped with the first note is easy to find as it is large, white and hard to conceal. And someone helpfully remembers all one needs to do is write on the back of the note with the feather and this entity will know about the response.

A small note drifts down from the sky to @solarcaravan. It is a hand scrawled note in deep blue ink on thick, maybe even hand pressed, paper.
The note reads
" Hello!
I have been following your caravan in my own way. I have been fascinated by your adventures.
Room for one more?
Reply on the back of this note with my feather. I will know."
As promised a large white feather is found nearby. However ink is not provided, there are plenty of berries and natural ways of making marks on paper in the area. The note does not address anyone in particular though the energy of excitement and anticipation of awaiting a reply can be felt when the note is held.
The sand shimmers under the morning sun
Burgeoning under the weight of all that blue, the burning eye lazily began to roll across the sky. The Dream Trader sat on a woven rug by the fire, gently swirling his tea. It was an odd blend, half-bought half-bartered from the Leader of the caravan in exchange for leaf-of-the-moon. It tasted like a gentle kiss rolled in cinnamon.
Fellow travelers, motley as they were, also joined him by the fire. While the sun was in the sky, the air still retained the night's chill and the blue of early morning lingered. The fire was an excuse to eat and breathe, before unloading their wares and plying the hustling, bustling madness of this stop along the trail.
Music mixed with the scent of woodsmoke drifted through the camp, making the Machine stir in its deep sleep, long legs shifting minutely. For some, this was a return home, and for others the first step out of their little ponds into the greater ocean of the world, and the dream trader had come to trade. He sought dreams of home, of comfort and warm houses, and for those he would sell dreams of a faraway land, of exotic forests and rain that never ends. He finished his tea, pulling the blue scarf around his face once more.
Time to hit the bazaar.
