SolarBeat was created by the uber-cool Luke Twyman of Whitevinyl Design (that's a lot of links for one sentence, but trust me, they are ALL worth it). His simple interactive audio/visuals will leave you spell bound. They make me feel both tremendous and tiny at the same time. I basically like anything that confuses and delights me.

I’m doing knowledge and wisdom. (What about you?) What I’ve been doing is finding tons of evidence and avoiding actual writing for as long as possible.

I'm doing representations about death. Basically I'm trying to argue that in Beowulf, their reactions to death indicated that they feared death because they did not have a concept of the relationship to the cosmos. And then in Faustus, it would seem English society and developed this idea of their place in the cosmos- but that didn't actually help them understand death any better and they still fear it (cuz faustus is all like "what's hell? it's everywhere God isn't? Nah, man, I don't think Hell is real").
