embroidery is probably the easiest/cheapest of the set; if you feel daunted by the variety of stitches, you could start with cross sitching? dmc, the most commong thread manufacturer, has a bunch of free patterns on their website and the starting cost of cross stitching isn’t astronomical either. lemme know if you want any recs/tips, id be happy to help!

6. Idea that you always wanted to write but could never make work?

[cries softly] all of them. but, okay, tbh, I have this one fic with dbsk + ten kisses (one kiss between each pair of the band), but I'm like... forever stuck. cause I either can't find the reason why these two people would kiss nor can I write the dynamic just right. cause that's what I love about dbsk are the fucking dynamics. equal parts of die-hard loyalty and sleek apathy with a dose of antagonism. IT'S HARD WRITING SOMETHING THAT COMPLEX. (it also ends with the most messed up gangbang too, just, DREAMY SIGH - this fic could be everything)

8. Favourite plot point/chapter/moment?

for dbsk, hm... in awoke with a scar, I have a lot of feelings about yoochun. my favourite moment is:

Yunho feels like he’s made of limestone and shale and granite – and Yoochun crashes through each layer as if they’re all delicate china. There are gemstones hidden in the curve of his sympathetic smile, granules of mica in the glitter of his eyes – and it is as valuable to Yunho as brittle coal.

1. forever impressed I knew that many rock names, and 2. I have very complicated relationship with yoochun, because he is at once the kindest, the absolute truest of people. but he also has something that makes him keep his distance from people, keeps him just out of reach.

10. Favourite line or lines of dialogue that you've written

I fucking love writing dialogue. I have so many favourites!!! I'm gonna pick lacerate for this one, because it's one of the best things I think I've actually written.

‘There are two things to learn here,’ says Jaejoong slowly, eyes narrowed, feeling oddly claustrophobic from the emotion clouding Changmin’s gaze. ‘One – Yunho is not yours, but he’s not mine either, no matter how much I want him. He’ll never be either of ours, so you fucking grow up and learn that soon, Changminnie.’

Changmin flinches, but doesn’t back down. Jaejoong continues, words rushed, ‘and second – you won’t ever, ever be able to hurt me.’ He reaches out, cupping Changmin’s neck, feeling the quiver of emotion running through Changmin’s body as he speaks. ‘Remember,’ and Changmin blinks, once, twice, tears clouding his eyes, ‘I fucking made you,’ and – finally – Changmin cries, ugly and broken.

this is the penultimate scene in lacerate that just drives in home exactly what the endgame of the fic is - that changmin is basically the failed protege of jaejoong - and I love how short and sweet and brutal it is.

12. What WIPs do you have going now? Are you excited about them?

AYYY, MOB AU. chapter three is coming along and new players are being introduced and I am so fucking excited!!! especially since this fic is focused on five big gangs, so far we've only met dbsk and boa, and there's three more to get to know. (you guys can probs guess which)
