4. What sections of the bookstore do you browse?I start in YA and move on to the bargain section (to see if anything I was looking at happens to be marked down). Then I take a glance at the romance section, sci-fi/fantasy, and the comics. 

15. Recommend and review a book.My go-to book rec is Summer of My German Soldier. It’s a coming-of-age story about a young Jewish girl named Patty Bergin living in a small Arkansas town during WWII. A prison camp for German soldiers is set up outside of town and she befriends one of the soldiers. I have read this book five times and it’s spoken to me in different ways every time. Patty’s parents aren’t always so understanding of their daughter (and can be really harsh and abusive). Patty trying to understand herself and why she can’t always make everyone love her the way they seem to so easily love her little sister resonated with me when I first read it at about 12 felt so real. We always feel like outcasts at that age when things are going all funky with their bodies. And later readings resonated with me as I realized the political things going on in the world around Patty helped me to see better the world around me. (Sorry, this is one of my favorite books and I could go on about it forever.)

16. How many books have you read this year?Goodreads says 4. But one of those was A Game of Thrones and I started reading that last December and just finished it last week. Same goes for another that’s German short stories I’m using to learn the language. I started that in October and finished in January.

If a monkey were a human would it think human thoughts or monkey thoughts or could a human have a monkey brain and therefore a monkey have monkey thoughts but human feelings?

Only one! Right now I’m loving Margaret Atwood, I just finished the Blind Assassin last week.
