The Work Continues

Therapy doesn't fix anything right away. It just gives the truth somewhere safe to land. We sit across from each other and listen without interrupting. I learn that progress doesn't look the same for everyone. Love, when done gently, asks for patience... not proof.

Where We Go to Be Quiet

Some places don't ask anything of you. The library smells like paper and patience, we sit near each other without filling silence. No fixing. Just the soft relief of not being needed. I don't know her yet, but I already know why I'll be back here.

A New Presence

He moves through his routine without urgency steady, focused, unbothered by anything outside of it

What We're Risking

We tell ourselves we're careful.

That it's only moments.. only stolen time.

But we don't slow down, we don't ask what happens next. Wanting something doesn't make it harmless, it just makes the fall quieter.

What I Didn't Do

Silence has a way of returning everything you avoid. I read the same page twice, I write things I don't like admitting. No one is asking me to explain myself. This isn't punishment. It's just what happens when you finally stop being distracted.

Choosing Ease

📍: Pilates

I let my body decide what it needs. Breathe in. Movement. Familiar music.

I don't ask my thoughts to behave.. I just don't let them drive. Some days healing looks like journaling. Other days it looks like showing up anyway.

After Everything

📍: Café

Mornings don't feel like waiting anymore. I get my coffee the same way everyday now. I write before the noise finds me. Healing didn't arrive loudly... it showed up as routine. And for the first time, that feels like enough.
