Hi! ^^ I thought it would be fun to share some pics of my Hypno and Warren inspired plushies :]

The hippo is a weighted plushie from the Etsy shop, CuddleCalm. I spool knit the worm with soft yarn and used a pipe-cleaner to make him pose-able and sewed him a tiny outfit. I also made the top hat and jacket for Hypno :]

(Note: my version of Hypno has a top hat not a turban since it was confirmed canon Hypno was not wearing a turban for religious reasons. His turban is a costume, and that is culturally insensitive to put it mildly.)

I gave Hypno’s jacket lapels; though they’re hard to see when he’s wearing it so here’s a picture of the jacket (and hat.) Also here’s a couple close-ups of Warren and a picture of them with me.

Watched various videos by Lixie Pig Crafts on YouTube to help figure out how to make the jacket and assorted videos on collars and lapels, plus lots of puzzling together pieces of paper while making a pattern. Watched a video called DIY mini top hat tutorial by Fleece Fun on YouTube for the hat, but I sewed instead of glued.

Hi! I want to introduce you to my two little pet beetles, Fluffy and Cinnamon Roll :]

Fluffy is the larger one and has five and a half legs. Cinnamon Roll is smaller and has four legs. They were both missing those limbs when I found them. I decided to bring them home.

They are diabolical ironclad beetles (not sure why their species is called that; they are gentle little beetles and are scavengers and eat plant matter and mushrooms etc.) I had been researching potential pet beetles and heard that diabolical ironclad beetles did really well in captivity and were easy to care for. I’ve had them for over three months and they seem to be doing well 💕

I have been feeding them various fruits and veggies and freeze-dried chicken for some protein. Their favorite is carrots so far. Though they’re also fond of cabbage and zucchini.

5. What’s your favorite thing to draw?

One of my favorite things to draw is deer!

I also really like drawing birds and horses and dragons.

11. How many art-related blogs do you follow?

Lots, I follow 780 blogs (I didn’t realize it was that many 0_o) and most of them are art-related.

16. Do you draw more today than you did in the past, or do you draw less?

I draw less than when I was little, but I still draw a good amount. I carry a sketchbook in my purse most of the time.

18. What are you currently trying to improve on?

I’m learning more about drawing humanoid/anthro characters with drawing mutants from Rise of the TMNT :]

(I’m initially an animal artist so they’re still tricky for me.)

Got a beautiful garden quartz (and a lovely cicada gift) from my wonderful friend @olliethescribe ’s shop!!!

The garden quartz is so pretty—the minerals inside it remind me of things that grow in tide pools :] A tiny tide pool garden.

I’m starting off with birds :] Right now, there’s just some ducks on there, but i hope to keep adding to it day by day. Would love to see you there :]

(Note: I chose to draw Hypno in a top hat rather than a turban because one of the writers who worked on the show said that Hypno was not wearing the turban for religious reasons. It was part of his costume. Also, Hypno’s canon design, especially as a human, has similarities to harmful stereotypes of Romani people—so a few of Hypno’s fans on here including me like to depict Hypno with a top hat instead.)
