This is the development for my editorial business. Straight after I came up with the name of the business.
Before the choice from 3 people who I gave them three narrowed down names. This was down from 9, it was very difficult to narrow it down.
The 3 choices where: 1. For the Stories  2. By the Stories  3. Ok By You.
1. the feedback was very ringy, it explains the purpose but also manages it seem exciting and engaging.
2. by means it is the stories that is in control and not the client or me so this was to be scrapt.
3. they liked the okay for asthics purposes but a name is not about this  also okay means that it is alright and not what i want the ethics to be about.
About the Branding:
I like the type on logo as it is an editorial business and i want it to show some cool style within how i use type and not be distracted with an icon.
Line or no line?Â
I have been through 5 types of fonts 1.facit 2. pt sans caption 3. lato 4. sofia pro 5. lyon
After trying all of them I have decided to go with the 4th font I tried Sofia Pro.
I haven’t posted anything I’ve done this semester yet, and it’s already almost over, oops. Pictures of other stuff later, but here’s my most recent project, just turned in Monday!
32 page (including the cover) booklet using an essay my teacher had everyone in the class use. the focus here was on book layout, type pairing (everyone had to select one serif and one sans serif typeface to use) and image integration
It was really cool to see how DIFFERENTLY everyone’s project turned out despite having the exact same text contents
process book for my type I class. nice.
