Tessa saw it all happen. She was closing the bar that night, minding her own business, when she had saw the outline of a boy fall to the ground. Tessa’s eyes widened, as she walked outside, heading into the alley and saw none other than a sword plunged into Ben’s chest. Her Ben, the Ben she had known for years, who had been there for her through absolutely everything. Demonic, empty Stiles stood over him, smiling. "He was starting to think for himself. Couldn’t have that happen." Tessa couldn’t even register his being, before he disappeared into the shadows. Bleeding out on her, Tessa shook her head, dialing her 911 on her phone with shaking hands. "N-No, Benny…Benny, don’t e-even…Benny, help is on the way, I love you…Please, do NOT close your eyes, it’ll be okay!" Ben coughed up more blood and pointed to the sword plunged in him. "…T-Tess…Please…Take it out." Tessa’s eyes widened, of course she had to and on the count of ten, had pulled it out, not without a whimper and a weak yell from Ben. Cradling him even more, Tessa took off her jacket, trying to stop the wound. "…T-Tess…It hurts…" Tears were dripping from her face as she kept pressure on the wound. "I know, Benny, I kn-know, but help is on the way, okay? You have to st-stay strong…Just lo-look at me, okay? Everything will be okay!" She exclaimed, swallowing hard. Ben looked up with his beautiful big doe eyes and breathed in and out, hard. "…You’ve al-always been there, ha-haven’t you, Tess? Always f-for me…It’s okay. It’ll be f-fine.." Tessa’s eyes widened, shaking her head. "NO! No, it will NOT be fine! For fuck’s sake, B-Ben, no, keep your eyes opened! If I could…co-could give you a blood transfusion right now, I would, but I can’t, so please! PLEASE!" She cried as Ben started to drift off. 'BENNY, NO! BEN, NO!” He opened his eyes a little and softly smiled. "…You have to take care of my dad…Pl-Please…"Tessa let out a sob and nodded. "…I w-will…I will…" He smiled and squeezed Tessa’s hand. "…You kn-know what will make me feel be-better…Sing Benny and the Jets…" Tessa couldn’t help but smile through her tears as she nodded. "Your fa-favorite song…Our song…" Ben laughed, nodding, drifting away. "We s-sang it all the time to make pe-people made, Jenny…" Tessa let out a cry as she nodded, starting to sing, stroking her hair. “…Sh-She’s got electric boots…a m-mohair suit…You know I read it in a magazine….O-Oh…” Tessa sang, her voice cracking as Ben smiled, in peace, drifting, drifting, gone. ”..B-Benny and the Jets…”
