I mean, God, the amount of crap I see written about them is intense; when reviewers or interviewers discuss them, it's almost all with a level of condescendion and sexism that drives me nuts.
Like yes, they're young Swedish sisters writing folk pop. That might sound cutsie and like it's some little sideshow act.

Listen to Ghost Towns. Name another folk artist who wrote a song like that at what????14??? It captures ... Man, I don't even know how to talk about it.
Hem of Her Dress!!!! You know what the soundtrack to my first breakup is gonna be???? THIS. Name a more beautiful breakup song, I'll wait.
Or even just good old Waitress Song! That's a pretty unknown one! And it stabs me in the heart. Every. Single. Time.
Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, all of those music magazines need to stop acting like they're just out of date hero worshippers. They're so much more. Their best music is still to come.
