“Thanks,” Sky said. Twilight nodded and took a sip of his drink, eyes locked on the bar. 

Sky chuckled. “He’s still at it?” Sky asked. 

“Sure is,” Twilight said with a smirk. 

Sky followed Twilight’s gaze to the bar, where Warriors was engaged in conversation with another man. Warriors had his elbow on the bar counter, mindlessly sliding an empty shot glass back and forth. He had his trademarked Flirting Face out in full force.

“What do you want to bet he doesn’t come back to the inn tonight?” Sky asked. 

Twilight huffed a laugh. “I’m not sure I want to bet against that,” they said, inclining his head to Warriors.

Warriors threw his head back in laughter, and Sky could even hear the sound over the roar of the other patrons. He looked like he was having a great time. 

“We’ll let him have his fun,” Sky said. 

Later that night, Warriors finally returned to their table. As he parted ways with the other man, he was shaking his head and waving goodbye. 

“Nice of you to join us,” Twilight teased. 

Warriors scoffed and swiped Twilight’s drink from his hands. “You wish you had my skills.” 

Twilight rolled his eyes as Warriors took a sip from his drink then returned it. “Yeah, right,” they said sarcastically. 

“You didn’t leave with him,” Sky said, one eyebrow raised in question. 

Warriors shrugged. “I’m not interested in that. Just some harmless fun while we’re here.”

Sky nodded her respect. She was glad Warriors knew what he wanted and was confident in his choices. 

“What about some less harmless fun,” Twilight said. 

“Oh? What do you have in mind?” Warriors asked. 

Twilight pointed to the pool table, where two men were loitering. Warriors smirked and jumped out of his seat.

“Absolutely yes. Let’s cream them,” Warriors said. “Sky, want to join?”

“Nope,” Sky said, reclining slightly in her seat. “Don’t get into too much trouble, please.”

“You’re one to talk,” Warriors said. 

“If you get into trouble here, I’m going to have to deal with it. I’m relaxing today,” Sky said. 

“Fine, fine,” Twilight waved Sky away. He downed the rest of his drink and stood with Warriors. 

“Good luck,” Sky said, offering a sloppy salute.
