OM Cigars Essential Blend No. 1 6x52 Toroedo After interviewing the man Behind The Label, Osvaldo Morales I got the chance to smoke the Essential Blend No.1. I will say that stating from the appearance it was one that will catch your eye because of the darkness and because of that the band makes it stand out even more. This is not a cigar for the faint of hearts so be sure to smoke this after a heavy meal. I hope you enjoy the review and get a chance to smoke this awesome cigar. Dry Draw: Tastes of red apples, slight graham cracker taste also. Construction: There is a thick wrapper/binder combination Appearance: Dark and dry wrapper, toothy to the touch with raised veins. On The Light: As soon as you light this stick it is a pepper bomb! Earthy, espresso flavors, light floral hints. As I was listening to music, the song Fireball from Pitbull came on. Perfect at the point in the cigar that I was. Lol! First Third: A intense flavor of dark chocolate to get the cigar going. The ash is black and grey in color and a little flaky. I also noticed that there were hints of ginger on the retrohale. Second Third: After having the cigar burn into the second third, the ginger flavor moves more forward and a little more pronounced. There was a citrus flavor that pronounced itself along with presence of leather. Last Third: The cigar did not change anymore in the last third but remained flavorful for certain. Last Thoughts: In the words of David Arnold...It ain’t for the weak! The cigars profile is Medium Plus to Full body. This stick reminded me of the song Run (Beautiful Thing) from Awolnation. I wanted to put it down but it held on to me. If you are looking for a stick that will knock your socks off this is one for you. I will be going thru each blend over the week so look for No.2-5 over the week. #barrelsnleafs #whatsinyourhumidor #omcigars #whatsyourpairing #socalbotl #socalsotl #itaintfortheweak #supportsmallbusinesses #supportlocal #supportlocalbusiness https://www.instagram.com/p/CDsYF5PHi9Y/?igshid=972gagknvzxo
