With nothing else to do, many drive out to see the spectacular sight. The white line at the top of this video is from bumper to bumper cars driving along Playa Del Mar Beach, just North of LAX along the coast of California. They are all hoping to get a glimpse of the glowing blue avatar-like effects of the plankton.
