"Well. I don't think there's anything left to do?" Sophie asks, glancing around the table where the rest of Team Valiant is gathered. Stina gives her an incredulous look and goes to speak, but Biana cuts her off.

"Nope!" She replies cheerfully, pulling the files away from Sophie with a smile. It melts off her face as easily as it formed when she turns to meet Stina's glare, but Sophie is too distracted to notice. "We can continue tomorrow," Biana adds, directing her words to Stina. Slightly miffed still, but somewhat satisfied, Stina exits the room, Dex and Wylie following not far behind. Biana knows Dex would have stayed to help her except he had this device or bomb or serum to work on-- she's not entirely sure. Soon, she and Sophie are the only people left in Havenfield's living room.

They'd all made a decision to meet there because Sophie had most of the files they were using. Whatever the reason, Biana was grateful for it now as she watched Sophie droop somewhat, her gaze sliding around the room without registering anything. She'd been dazed all throughout the meeting.

"What's up?" Biana asked softly, so as to not startle Sophie too much. It didn't help. Sophie's eyes darted around like a spooked bunny, and Biana didn't comment about how she'd been around Vanishers for years now, and instead just flickered back into view.

"I.. I think I just need some sleep. Didn't really get enough last night," Sophie replied eventually, but Biana didn't miss the way she winced as she tugged on her eyelashes. She gently pulled Sophie's fingers away, and bit back her comment on how she was pretty sure Sophie didn't get enough sleep most nights.

"Do you want me to call Edaline?" Biana asked, still holding Sophie's hand. Neither of them pulled away, so she began rubbing slow circles on the back of her hand. Even as Sophie replied agitatedly that she didn't want to worry Edaline or Grady, she didn't pull away. Biana took it as a sign to continue.

"Let’s get you to bed then, c'mon," Biana said encouragingly, guiding Sophie to her bedroom. Somedays, she still marveled at the fact that Grady and Edaline had given Sophie the entire second floor as her room. Today was not that day. Today, she made sure Sophie did not trip on any of the stairs, and then made sure she took off her socks and shoes before lying down, before pulling the blanket up.

"Where's Ella?" She asked, searching for the elephant. Sophie blushed slightly, and Biana had to focus a little harder to pay attention to her answer. She scrounged out Ella from where she had fallen off the bed, and tucked her in next to Sophie. Then, as Sophie's eyelids seemed to droop with every passing second, a small part of her wished that she had Sophie or Keefe’s photographic memory, so she could capture this scene forever in her head. Alas, she had to make do with her own subpar one.

"Are you gonna go?" Sophie asked, slurring her words slightly. Biana marveled at the fact that she had managed to make it out of bed at all this morning, what with how close to slumber she was after barely a minute in bed.

"Do you want me to go?" Biana asked honestly. She would have loved to stay but she knew Sophie always felt too exposed. If she had people coming over to her house unexpectedly and unwantedly as much as Sophie did, she probably would have appreciated to sleep in privacy at least. Especially since Sandor was far more diligent about staying with his charge than Woltzer was.

"..No," came the reply from under the blanket. Biana allowed herself a goofy smile as she made her way to the chair in the corner of the room.

"Aww, you love me," She joked, hoping to hear a laugh or even just an playful dissent. Instead, she heard a soft "Mhm," that made her heart flutter, even though she reasoned to herself that Sophie probably meant in a way that she did all her friends. She didn't get a chance to respond before Sophie's breathing evened out and her soft little snores filled up the room. Biana had the fleeting thought that even her snores were adorable before she snapped out of it, berating herself for it.

You're not her girlfriend! She reminded herself, but that reminder seemed futile as felt herself doze off on the chair as well.
