#sobbing bye

Gojo Satoru

— dad jokes. that's it. most of the time, you'd laugh for the effort...and sometimes, yes, he's funny. you often told him he'd be a great dad already as a joke, but with that, he was determined to make it real if it were to happen. 

the whole dad finally happened, but only today did you witness the "great" he was aiming for. Gojo thought you were still asleep when he opted to play and joking with her. your toddler was so happy with him, giggling in delight, and warmth shared in both their smiles— it was a moment you wanted to stay watching for as long as you can, hoping time would stop. unfortunately, it didn't, as she soon got fussy, probably wanting to eat, sleep, or do something else by then.

after a few, you enter the room they headed and took a seat next to him, "so you finally found someone who laughs at your jokes."

"not really." he's currently watching your daughter while she took a nap, the solution from that little tantrum. "i feel like she just laughed at my face, and you did see she cried afterwards."

"that meant she loves it, though," you reply, humorously defending her actions before you proceeded to rest your head on Gojo's shoulder, "i did the same thing."

he wraps his arm around your shoulder, resting head on yours as he sighs. "i think this family's love language to bully me."

Geto Suguru

— stays during the opportunities you’re afraid to take. whether it be a minor or major one, Geto will be there to support, help, or even try to participate if you need him to. you often wonder why he'd be so willing to do so, but for him,  this was his way to show that you're worthy of more than you think, and he'd be happy to prove that.

when your twins wondered and talked both to you about wanting to try activities or classes of sorts— there was no doubt about the answer. their dad would often be the one to take them to their practice or lessons, and of course, he'd have a picture for every time he's there. he keeps whatever work they give him, from little messages to doodles, while with recitals and performances, we already know. 

today was another event, and your children were at the living room just full of excitement while you and he were still getting ready. 

"could you fix this for me?" he asks, pointing to his loose tie after seeing that you were ready. you nod, turning to face him and adjusting the cloth.

"you know," you start, an absentminded smile playing on your lips, "we're lucky to have you." 

"where did this come from?"

"just a reminder, Suguru," you say, smoothing out the tie on his chest before giving a quick kiss on the cheek, "come on, we're gonna be late."
