My older brother just announced that he's moving out literally in two weeks. Apparently he already has an apartment or something lined up with his gf so he just needs to pack his shit and go. Nice news while on vacation for the holidays...

I just looked at the requirements I have to do for an oral exam this semester, that's why I just lost it for a second.

Basically I have to read 2 books and 4 articles in Japanese (and write about 1-3 pages on what they're about each). This should not be as big of a deal, because I'm a Master's student for Japanese Studies, right? Except my Japanese sucks real hard, because I hardly ever use it...so this is a lot of work. A lot.

Also I have to write a paper that I couldn't do last semester (for which I have to use Japanese sources too), additional to another paper I have to do, as well as a regular class and working on my thesis (as I have to present what I did so far by the end of March which, at this moment, is nothing, really lol). It's just too much...

#on the other hand it's basically my last proper semester #all thats left after that is my thesis #so...hmm #i might also just do the oral exam next semester #yeah thats probably better #*mumbles to self*#BUT BASICALLY UGH WHY DO I EVEN STUDY JAPANESE STUDIES WITH HOW LITTLE I CARE #but it's too late to turn back now...#:I #university woes
