What does her day look like typically? Are there things she does routinely?
5 HOURS is all she needs. unless she’s sick, there’s hardly a time she sleeps longer than that. most of her days now she wakes up with a GRIN on her face, stretching and yawning before sitting up and pushing up the blinds of her window to find out where they’d ended up while she’d slept. she doesn’t like sleeping, she always misses so much ! ash wasn’t there anymore but the book she’d read her last night was still where she’d left it and jami quickly gave the page they’d stopped at a dog-ear so they’ll find it easier tonight. getting up on her feet, she bounces one - two - three times then jumps off her bed and lands softly on bare feet. the girl hops over to her audio console and with one simple push of a button a song starts playing. she lazily kicks a small ball out of the way on her way to her bathroom where she’ll briefly brush her teeth while pulling faces and imitating stakar from that one time he told her to stop fooling around. ( she has a step stool so she can see herself in the mirror. ) next she brushes her hair and braids it to the best of her abilities. picking an outfit is next ! she always goes for whatever she likes most, not caring about the colours fitting together. after that’s done too, she’ll lastly slip into tiny boots and with that she’s ready for her day to start. - and no, she didn’t make her bed.
she leaves her quarters fully aware most of the crew is probably still sleeping. her first stop is cir’s quarters to bring her her daily oreo before they go to have breakfast together. in the canteen you can see two tiny devils discussing what kind of shenanigans they should get themselves into today. if it’s a good day it’ll end in a food fight that neither of them is going to clean up.
after that, she’ll check in with the others. kraglin’s first - if he’s up yet. if not, she’s going to wake him up by drawing a mustache on his face and then go on asking questions about something new she found in his tool box so he can explicitly explain to her what it is and what it’s used for so she can forget about it after five minutes. the medbay is next ! you can hear her humming some kind of song while she strolls the ship, happy as a clam. once in the medbay, she greets BERT first and informs him of any updates before she says hi to corvus with their usual fist bump. next, she’ll get her daily lecture from gem and a new cool medical term to learn ! so far, she hadn’t forgotten any and she had really started liking those little lessons. she’s still set on becoming a doctor.
once she’s annoyed these two as well, she’ll make her way back to the flight deck she’s certain she’ll meet yondu who she’ll boldly greet with a hug and a kiss on the cheek ( as always ) whether he likes it or not. she’ll spend some time rearranging the figurines on his console - it starts getting crowded there - because she feels a new figure should get to be in front every other day. she’s made up names & stories for them and if he’s in a good mood and has the time, he’ll play pretend with her for some time. once that’s done and she leaves, she’s sure he arranges them back to how he likes them which she doesn’t mind. she’ll come back tomorrow.
ethan’s her next victim. him & juno being the newest members of the crew, she feels the need to involve them in as much as she can. the next few hours will be spent playing some terran game with him. hopscotch ? parcheesi ? hide and seek ? anything to have a fun few hours before she moves on to explaining juno the rest of the rules like she had with the fridge time out rule.
when that is done too, she’ll return to her quarters for a moment ( before ashley drags her out to get dinner ) where she’ll call up stakar just to say hi and to inform him of any new updates, tell him about anything new she’s learned today. the call ends with a blown kiss and after ashley made sure she ate something it doesn’t take long until she’s in her pj’s again & her day ends just like the last one. with two hours of the terran trying to get her to sleep until she can’t fight off the tiredness anymore.
