my favorite characters are the ones that don’t run or shy away from their sins. they’re well aware of how much they’ve fucked up in life but they still maintain a calm demeanor through it all. their actions clearly weigh on them internally but never outwardly for others to notice. it’s like they’re affected without ever losing themselves as a person. they never harp on the consequences because the road ahead is bleak to them regardless. whatever’s coming their way as a result of their actions, they’re already locked and loaded for it. this is the ultimate form of acceptance and it’s so badass
