I'm always trying to increase my fiber intake (prone to digestive woes and have a hereditary tendency to high cholesterol, you know) and one place I identified where I could bring some in is Weekend Breakfast. So I bought bran flakes.
The thing is, they feel peculiarly safe and comforting to eat: bland but not flavorless, slightly nutty, sweet but not so sweet that I feel like I'm going to have a crash later. I've immediately become attached to them. Bow was kind of like "okay, whatever floats your boat" but then he started eating them and was like "actually.....they're good?" We spent several minutes today waxing lyrical about the surprising comfort and enjoyment of bran flakes.
So basically my training for a future career as an eccentric old curmudgeon is going great, thanks!
If it's okay, can I ask you a random question ? what star trek series did you watch or not watch and what is your opinion on them ? I'm just curious ^^' have a good day ;)
I watched all the series (TOS, TAS, TNG, DS9, ENT, and DISCO) except Voyager (I’m still trying to finish season 5 but Neelix is the reason I can’t keep doing it, idk, I kind of hate him) and all the movies as well... and several times.
My opinion is that TOS, TAS and TNG are pure gold and I love them with all my soul but wow... DS9 is a work of art. ENT... well, let’s say I only watched it because I needed to know more about the pre-federation era for a comic I was doing and for Mayweather. Season 1 of DISCO was good and first and then trash and season 2 improved a lot. And as I said, VOY is pretty good so far except for the whole Neelix thing. The movies are fine, some of them doesn’t exist for me tho, too much angst.
