Aaron Dingle was determined to get to a well place with regards to his mental health. And he has done. And you can tell because he is sleepwalking into a complex situation without realising it. He's not a stressed out man by any stretch at the moment despite the fact that he is in a relationship yet giving his ex heart eyes. The realness of this only hits him late whereas I think there is an older version of Aaron who would have stopped this by now by worrying.
