the amount of people genuinely just taking this at face value, not even real fans just people in general, when we live in an era of readily available and accessible technology is insane. you can post the shittiest possible takes on twitter but can't do a quick google search on something that far, fra transcends football like this? real madrid is literally rewriting and erasing a fascist, murderous dictator and his regime's history right in front of our eyes and they're acting like this is a matter of clubs. just so so low.
Exactly, and its not a necessity to know the history of the club you support but if you are going to comment on this issue which has political and historical aspects to itself that affected thousands, at least get your information from somewhere with solid facts rather than groundless tweets from someone who would lie blatantly for 20 likes in twitter. Also it’s so concerning how that 4 min video easily convinced some to believe that something which has accessible proofs of being completely opposite of how it presented, blindly and without questioning it.
And I can’t understand the thought process of making that video and how one sane person was not there to stop them. You can’t make claims like that with the photos you googled and news titles, where there are people who suffered for years in the hands of said regime that you declared was favoring them. They can’t simply accuse people like that and try to shift the blame and play victims, I hope there will be serious consequences but i doubt it.
