If you knew how utterly obsessed I am with the cartoon trope where a tiny, adorable little character turns out to be a traitor, you would actually cry. IT'S LITERALLY BEEN ONE OF MY FAVORITE TROPES SINCE I WAS A KID. I don’t know if it started with this movie because it was the first cartoon I ever saw that did it, but even now I still go absolutely feral for it. Like, it hits especially hard when the harmless cutie’s sweet little face suddenly twists into something evil/unhinged and the contrast is soooo good. Anyway, I’m obsessed.
