i said i’d never bake bread again but there’s this bakery that’s hiring...$22 an hour...

#essentially DOUBLE what i was making in sc...#and this is like REAL bread like from-scratch-dough bread not the frozen dough shit at [redacted]#which ofc. i don't have experience w that but i've made yeast dough at home tons of times #i mean it was cinnamon roll dough not bread dough but like. same dif #but i just looked at their webbed site and this looks like the type of bread you actually get to be creative with #and like. the lack of creativity was the main thing i hated about baking bread in a supermarket #so like........#the funniest shit though? the absolute FUNNIEST shit? the job starts at 2am #which ofc is 5am on the east coast #which ofc means i would be working the EXACT same hours as i did in sc #well not EXACT exact it looks like i'd only get a 30min break if i had this job and i used to get an hour #but hey! less time spent at work!#although it's(according to google maps) about a 35min drive from my airbnb so...MUCH longer commute #but much better views...maybe i wouldn't mind #plus i'm only in this airbnb for 30 days so i could find a closer place to live more permanently #it does say you need a food handler certificate which is something i don't have BUT #i googled it and apparently it's a california thing and you can get one online in 90 minutes for like 8 bucks #the only problem would be it says to print it and i have no printer here...ig i could save it as a pdf send it to my phone and print it at #like a library or something #but honestly once i get my body on pacific time i think i wouldn't mind these hours #like if your job starts at 5am you pretty much have to just go to bed really early and wake up at 3 #but if your job starts at 2am you can go to bed like right when you get home then wake up and have a few hours before you have to leave #fuck it i think i'm gonna apply

it just occurred to me maybe i dont “misread sarcasm” i think its bc ppl i dont get along with say dumb shit to me and when i call em out on it theyre like “it was sarcastic couldnt you tell” but they were saying it in the most genuine tone. but they never say its sarcasm until they realize i dont think its funny or more than 1 person challenges them.

on the same note i WOULD say im gullible but i think its more accurate to call myself.. forgiving? still i think i just attract a lot of ppl who take advantage of that and then when they realize i actually think abt more than just my special interests and keeping up w my friends then theyre like oh shit????
