UWAAAA!! I completely forgot to upload this when the new doro episode came out... though I don't think any1 cares lolll, just thoughts and things I noticed that changed from the manga, the scenes are out of order tho sorrey (ʘᴥʘ)
Ep 20 was sooo good like always and we get to see a lot more animation techniques (if that's even the right word) like their face models being manipulated and stretched to make a variety of silly facial expressions, a lot more in this episode than the others, and the broom chase scene with the En puppet was genuinely so amazing to see animated!! And just a lot of animation improvements!! Such a funny episode too!!! <33
And ohh I’m really glad that this episode was less fast paced than the last one, it made me think that a lot more things were going to be crammed in this episode… so ignore my earlier prediction posts please hehe…
AAGHH!! I was waiting for some kind of DaiDark reference to appear and I gasped when I saw Shimada on a shirt!!! I want it NOWW!11
Honestly I feel sort of mixed about the change of making Fujita awake instead of passed out for 2 days, I really love how we get to see how deeply traumatized he was for seeing En's death and showing him afraid and hiding in his room (with a picture of Matsumura and his flesh in resin right next to him <3), but we don't get to see the nightmares that torment him while he is asleep or the really cool panel filled with En's face everywhere
But the change that I absolutely adore is showing Kai's eye peeking at Fujita as he pulls En’s head into the ducts, the suspense was insane!! And better than a shot of Kai's shoe heh
They've also removed this shot of Dokuga thinking about Kai which got replaced with a zoom-in of Kai's knives instead, I was excited to see animated >.< This isn't the first time they've removed or butchered a scene of Dokuga thinking about Kai, which is kind of disappointing considering how its a big component of Dokuga's character and how stressed it is in the manga that he is closer to/thinks about Kai more than the others
Instead of Kawajiri and Nikaido escaping to the streets, Kawajiri took them to a house/hotel (not sure if they specified where they stayed or not..</3)
Ugh this scene was so adorbss!! But they removed the small scene of younger En lecturing younger Noi 〒▽〒And I don't know if it's just me but Noi's model looks a bit off for some reason, like she looks a bit skinnier/shrunken or something
I thought this scene was going to be more close-up and exaggerated like it was in the manga but nopee, it's still such a cool scene though and the whole chase sequence was just so amazing aghh I can't talk about it enough!!
So cute how she's doing the exact same pose as the manga, baby Nikaido is so adorable and she was so well animated<333333

AND AAAGHH!! When I watched the ep I was so caught off guard from how fucking RIPPED Kai guy was, in the manga he definitely does have a lot of muscle but in the anime his skin looks so tight to his muscles, like he's super dehydrated or something. His abs look like Hawaiian rolls
But such a bummer that they got rid of this fight scene, It was good that they got rid of the unnecessary nudity of a 16 year old (oof), but in the same scene we get to see how strong the 5 of them really are compared to the other cross-eyes and such
They also removed other smaller scenes and panels like Risu/Curse sensing Kai but I’m assuming they’re adding that the next episode
