I finally realised why trans Snorpy headcannons make me feel weird. It's cause it's just used to make him suffer more. It never seems to be for "I see myself in them" it's always "Oh if they're trans then there'd MORE relationship drama with Chandlo!". For people who aren't Bugsnax fans, Snorpy's whole story is he has a crush on his childhood best friend, Chandlo. When he finally reveals his feelings, Chandlo states he thought they were dating already, thus making a story of miscommunication. Trans Snorpy headcannons just put them through more romantic miscommunication.

"Must I really make an announcement for this? What if the Grumpinati finds it and uses it as a way to trace my location?"
Snorpy sighed to himself, before quickly putting on his best Chandlo impression, which actually sounds... scarily accurate to Chandlo's voice. "'It'll be fine, Snorpdawg! Don't worry about it, just chill!'" He put on a fake smile as he said that, before quickly going back to his expression before, along with his normal voice. "...as long as Chandlo wants it."
