I Have a Question
So when Voldemort says that Snape merely desired Lily, that he(Snape) agreed that there are many pureblood women out there more worthy of him or something...did they talk about this?
Did this happen somewhere after Voldemort’s re-birth? Was Voldemort punishing Snape when he remembered that Snape asked for a request so many years ago to spare Lily?
Did Snape, already fearing that he’d be killed, have flashback about Dumbledore constantly talking about how Lily’s sacrifice was the one that saved Harry? Did he like, panic even more and think that his death was assured?
Or maybe it occured somewhere around OOTP.
Can you imagine Voldemort and Snape sitting by the fireplace. Voldemort staring at Snape while Snape is wondering what went wrong now and awkwardly trying not to look away? And then Voldemort just casually brings up that he killed Lily but there are of course more women worthy of severus, and Severus grabbing the opportunity and just gone along with it?
Why would they even talk about that? Does Voldemort have some bi-weekly updates on his Death Eaters? Is Voldemort a gossip?
This has been bothering me for days now.Â
