That Notre Dame post sounds like basically what would happen if Crisis MUNers were allowed to write children's movies.
I think more crisis dels should be allowed to write children’s movies. Children these days are sadly lacking in education on important topics, like Eastern European arms smuggling and advanced sabotage.

Did not realize Zac had gotten divorced till this point, I was wondering about that during nerdhq vids. Woowwwww

i didn't even know abt the divorce. wow. that would be an interesting turn of events.
I believe that it was TMZ that reported it first... *sighs* I know next to nothing about them except that they were cute in their twitter interactions and that they’re both very religious.Â
Hey jw if you realized the whole HIMYM/Joss Whedon thing isn't coincidence? A large part of it is the solid relationships people like Alyson Hannigan built, which includes bringing people on to HIMYM and recommending people (like Cobie Smulders for Avengers) to Joss. It's also just that the HIMYM creators are Buffy and Angel fans.
I didn’t realize that. Kinda cool. And then I’m guessing Alexis Denisof was the reverse, bringing him to HIMYM.
Yoo Incredibles next week at Doc. I am excited
Yo for real? Wanna go?

Replies RE: Ideological Diversity
sneezymeanderings replied to your post “How politically liberal or conservative is UChicago, really?”
UChicago is one of the more ideologically diverse schools I've seen and honestly it's a great thing.
idealistically replied to your post “With less than 6k students, I was hoping there wouldn't be ANY misogynists. Or even religious people or Republicans...”
I'm a UChicago grad who is Catholic, Republican, AND an aspiring journalist, so this is just great.

Also, religious people can be liberal!
(2/2) Furthermore I just got back from the UCIL New York trek (shout out to the Careers programs (and their financial aid)) and someone on the trek actually told me that she came to UChicago a diehard atheist, with no respect for religion, and she loved having the Core, because reading Augustine exposed her to religious scholarship and made her less dismissive. Like mentioned here, college is supposed to challenge you. You can maybe manage to avoid it, but why? Anyway, things to think about.
(1/2) In response to the whole 'political climate' dialogue, personally I'm from a very liberal college town, and you aren't likely to find a liberal arts college or research university without a strong liberal, atheist, contingent. What is rare is finding a school that does represent a large variety of viewpoints, and creates an environment that actually allows those sides to be heard. There are certainly ideas I disagree with, but a close-minded college space hurts its students, on both sides
