The thing with snaylor is she barely sings? She basically lyrically talks over music and throws in random whine yodels to "give it depth." Her vocal range is about the size of a postage stamp and the majority of her songs sound the same. I'm not saying there aren't some that are good, there are and I like them. But this idea that she's this innovative always changing never the same groundbreaking artist is just another example of white people failing upward
“just another example of white people failing upward”
we dropping truths in this ranch todaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyy
this is a pattern y’all have and it needs to be addressed. stop fucking forcing sexualities on people you don’t know. you’ve done it with the one direction guys, you’ve done it with 5H, you’ve done it with taylor, you’ve done it with countless other people and then when they tell you that you’re wrong you throw fits and would rather go into conspiracy theory mode rather than accept the fact that your faves aren’t fucking and that people in the real world are, in fact, straight. grow up.
I think t*ylor lowkey queerbaits her fans but that’s a different conversation
I mean...I've been saying that for a long time. Just scroll through the tag. And she got called out by the media for it too when she did the gay music video. It's beyond obvious.
It's fuckin swifty isn't it
Look, I still don’t like her for the same reasons I never liked her before and I’m never going to talk about on tumblr because they're personal but I will admit that she clearly has grown and changed A LOT. She’s made that evident in the past few months. I am always open to give people their cake if they earned it and she has. So while *I* personally will never fuck with her she’s not on my shit list anymore.

make a blanket out of this article and wrap me up in it because 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
ok i understand not liking taylor swift but tbh there’s substantial evidence that she’s not straight and i believe it despite not caring about her or anything she does... not liking someone doesn’t mean that she can’t be gay?

Three great parts to highlight from this article:
But there's two that need an even bigger emphasis:
"The entire song, indeed, subsumes queerness into Swift’s narratives. Its breathtaking argument: that famous people are persecuted in a way meaningfully comparable to queer people."
and
"Throwing shade is a social act, a performance, and it can be done out of genuine spite or—as when on Drag Race it’s a reality-show challenge—in good fun. There are many ways to describe a parent who disowns a trans kid, or a lawmaker who tries to nullify same-sex marriages, or a church member who crashes a gay soldier’s funeral. Shady isn’t one." [x]
