-While their parents were busy, Boxkit and Snappingkit enjoyed a peaceful nap.
-Something dark has taken interest in Boxkit and Snappingkit.
-During early hunting patrols, Dewbelly caught nothing while Sandsnake caught a huge crow. Sandsnake allowed Dewbelly to take credit for the crow, since Sandsnake was a medicine cat and didn’t rely on fighting or hunting for a good reputation. While Dewbelly had a poor reputation within the clan, and could use a catch like that to get a little respect.
-Maplefeather criticized the fact that Sandsnake didn’t bring any prey back to camp, saying that all Sandsnake was good at was playing with dirty weeds.
-Dewbelly immediately defended Sandsnake, leaping in and arguing with Maplefeather.
-The argument turned into a fight, and the two of them had to get patched up by Sandsnake. Sandsnake treated them both fairly, taking care of Maplefeather even though he insulted her.
-Maplefeather has gained a torn ear. Dewbelly has gained a scratch on his neck.
-Maplefeather took the kits around camp, carrying them carefully. He sees a crab and a snail. The snail won’t seem to stop following him, so he adopts it. He names the snail, “Leaf”.
