“Half of all life!”
I’m very proud of this
cursed
Has this been done yet?
Thanos snapping a second time would not delete the other half of the universe. The first snap dusted half of the existing universe, so the second should do the same, leaving us with a forth of the original universe.
Which means that the equation 1/(2^x) should give us how much of the universe is left, given that x is a positive integer equal to the number of times Thanos has snapped.
In conclusion, Thanos can never fully get rid of that remaining half if he is simply snapping. Even if the number of Snappenings approached infinity, there would still be a tiny fraction of living things. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

The Snapening
So, it just occured to me that Rocket did not dust because:
But Groot did dust. Because he’s not a unique creature. Groot’s species is rare, as evidenced by The Collector’s reaction to him in GG1. But he is by no means the only one of his kind. Also, given that at the end of GG1, Rocket picks up one of THOUSANDS of twigs from Groot’s body and nurture’s that into Baby Groot... it’s possible that Groot’s death actually seeded a population resurgance on Nova. So... Groot’s dusting is sad and all, because Groot. But Rocket living... just continues to be one of the saddest fucking things in the whole MCU. For so many reasons.
Not to be a Thanos apologist but if he can give me no longer existence easily and without pain then hell yes I’m absolutely on team Thanos where do I sign up to be dusted
