Hello! Iām @witchescapades :) I hope youāre doing well. I had a beginner witch question, if you are still open to answering those. What are some simple spells (especially protection, luck, or strength-related) that I might do WITHOUT fire? Where I live currently I canāt burn a candle, let alone anything that would create a bigger flame. Turns out that disqualifies me from 99% of the simple spells Iāve encounteredāsuper frustrating!
I'm always open to answering beginner witch questions! I just reblog that post periodically to let my new followers know. :)
When you're first starting out, it does seem like an awful lot of spells call for candles or fire or smoke of some sort. Don't worry - not all witchcraft requires burning!
I recommend looking into jar spells and knotwork. There are plenty of spells that you can do with a jar of random items or a piece of yarn or twine for just about any purpose. You can also make paper charms or imbue a piece of clothing or jewelry with your desired magical effect. With a little practice, you can also learn to work spells with no materials at all. The possibilities are endless!
You might want to check out my spells tag. There are lots of ideas in there. I also have a book out entitled The Sisters Grimmoire with lots of simple spells that any witch can do. (If you like fairy tales, you'll love this book!)
Hope this helps!
