Attn: Asante Snap Pump Users!
For those of you using an Asante Snap Pump, you’ve probably already been notified that Asante is going out of business and will no longer be manufacturing the Snap Pump or any of its parts.
However, the good news is that both Omnipod and Animas are offering limited-time free transition offers to Snap Pump users!
I’ve never tried the Animas but I had a great experience with the Omnipod (being wireless is awesome!) However, I know the Animas pump is integrated with the Dexcom CGM which is an enormous plus. Whichever direction you go in, best of luck to all the Snap Pump users out there; I hope you find a safe and healthy alternative for your insulin needs!
