Aight, so... For anyone who still follows this blog, I’m sure you guys have more than noticed the complete lack of activity on here for quite a long time.

To briefly summarize? Due to work schedules and just overall having less free-time, I’ve been having finding myself going on here less and less to the point where I haven’t opened Tumblr in quite a long time.

As of right now? I don’t really have the energy anymore to post on here, let alone continue the story. As much as I really loved being on here and sharing the story I’ve been developing, I think it’s probably safe to say that this is where it’ll end. It was really fun while it lasted - especially interacting with all of you, but I can confidently - albeit sadly say - that my blogging days are over.

Definitely a bit unfortunate to post this on Christmas, but I feel that if I don’t share this now? I’ll probably never will.

Honestly though with how much I had in mind for the story, it’d also be a bit of a sucky thing to just leave it hanging as it is. If people wish I could write a large summary of all of the events that would’ve transpired (and how it ultimately ends), I definitely owe you guys at least that much.

Ultimately I have no intention of deleting this blog since I want to leave everything here, the memories are too important for them to just disappear.

But...yeah, it’s been quite the ride everyone. I appreciate all of you for all of the fun I’ve had, and even though it’s ending on a bitter note, I do feel somewhat satisfied for everything I’ve experienced. Although I won’t be on Tumblr anymore (except for the summary that I might post later), you guys are welcome to reach out to me through Discord and other media if you so wish!

(After some thinking, I’ve decided to open up the ask box again~

Due to my streak of inactivity, I’ve decided to do a change of direction in the plot and focus a bit more on worldbuilding. To help with this I’ve introduced a few other characters as well. ^^

With the three of them being ‘official’, I’m gonna go ahead and open the ask box as well! Since to be honest, I really need to interact with the community more. x.x

But yeah! With them being open for interactions, the ask hints page has been updated! Although not an obligation, I know it always helps to have something to work off of~ You can find the ask hints page right here!

(And with that, I shall reveal the next group of characters: Miyako, Yinomi, and Iniko~

As of lately I’ve been going through a writing slump and not having much motivation, so I thought I’d do a change of focus and do a bit of world-building (and also interact more with the community, since I need to do that more).

For the question about appearance, you would be correct! Technically everything that’s being spoken to them is happening ‘inside their mind’, it’s the beginning process to subvert the individual so that the ‘speaker’ may begin the transformation of turning them into a Taken.

Essentially, after the process is complete? They’d be looking quite a lot like Zen’Ro here~

Zen’Ro was your standard run-of-the-mill Scizor before he got Taken after all! All Taken share very similar appearances, being the transitioning ‘black to white’, their face being obscured with the lantern-like light, the black ‘mist/flames’ that floats around their head, and the flecks of stars across their body.

Taken Zealots on the other hand have slightly different appearance, but I’m not gonna get into those at the moment

As for the contradictions? You’re also correct! Essentially the whole ‘words’ differ greatly from individual to individual. The Echo (the source of the ‘voice’) references directly to what makes them as an individual, targeting what it deems as their greatest weakness. Essentially the whole process is them being ‘reassured’ that whatever fault they had has been fixed, thus meaning that they are now Perfected. Because of this, one individual might be told that ‘unity is bad’ while another ‘unity is good’.

Most cases though it tends to just focus on the individual’s species as a whole instead of their personality, since this ‘Perfection’ does play a large key in granting them a power that makes them far stronger than their base self - such example being Zen’Ro’s ‘swords’.

After looking through some of my old posts of me doing this Taken meme, I’ve kinda been wanting to do it again since they’re very fun to write!

For those who don’t know, you send me a character or general Pokemon species and I’ll write a special writing prompt that takes the characters traits, securities/insecurities, history, or anything and ‘twist’ it, since they’re becoming ‘corrupted’ by a greater power.

Some examples of this is this post, and for past ones I’ve done I’ve reblogged them to my RP blog here!

I’m gonna be open to accepting asks for her! I thought that some interaction would be a good way to up my activity, since i really do need to get back into the swing of things! ^^

(Ey everyone, firstly I’d like to apologize for pretty much dropping off the face of the planet.

To essentially summarize what happened? After pretty much having a consistent posting schedule for the past one and half years, I’ve started experiencing a writing burnout so strong that I’m having extreme difficulties even posting on here anymore.

Sadly I’m still experiencing this burnout and don’t know when it’ll go away, so the hiatus will continue for an indefinite period of time.

But despite this I don’t have any intention of abandoning this blog. If anything, I still plan to write on here, although I’m probably gonna be taking a different approach.

I’m mostly gonna be focusing on more world-building and other various posts, such as developing the Guardians of Twilight further as well as expanding on the current happenings around the various continents (Venhara, Progria, and others) as well as the ‘other’ area (where the From the Veil posts are focusing on). Although these won’t have a consistent schedule, so these posts will probably be popping up out of nowhere.

Even though I haven’t been having any activity on here, I still have been checking Tumblr frequently as well as seeing the various posts people have been making. So despite not posting here, I’ll try to engage a little bit more and at least send some asks (and maybe participate on any ask memes that might go around).
