What texts/books/topics of research solidified your beliefs?

If you had to label your political ideology, what would you label it?

On question 2: if you are aware of criticisms with such texts/books/topics of research, how would you respond to them?

Good question, honestly i dont really know. It started off with joke-ish social media shitposts and gradually grew in me when i actually considered these things. At first i naturally fell into classic psyops (like christian "nationalism" etc) but when i discovered more about pagan ancestry i felt it in my very soul and knew id dedicate even more. I own a couple of books (such as m3ink4mpf which im still reading - armanean runes and the black sun (recommend this to anyone interested in esoterica, not political.), i have digital books/pdfs too. I also enjoy video essays! I did too have personal irl experiences that contributed aswell, but i try not to cherry pick experiences including my own.

Moster RELATIONSHIPS are for when you realize you can make a home in your body, you can adorn your fangs and horns and fur and wings and scales, you can fall in love with the things that make you a monster, you can nurture your body in all its horror.

My favorite thing about MiphLink? That is an impossible question to answer. This is my OTP I have so many answers oh god.

From a meta standpoint, I like that it does a lot to enhance both Link and Mipha’s characters in the games. Link gets an aspect to his character that’s not directly related to plot or gameplay or his duty (his fighting, his duty to the Princess and Hyrule, his cooking, his love for food, his exploration side). He’s a knight who also loved someone deeply, and it speaks to a lot more hidden behind his mask.

As for Mipha, I think Link loving Mipha back makes her a stronger character too. BoTW emphasizes her romantic love for Link in the storyline, while leaving the rest of her awesome personality in environmental storytelling that’s not as easily discoverable. So it takes effort to see the aspect of Mipha beyond “she loved Link” enough to make traditional “future husband” armor for him. So it doesn’t sit well to me to have a character who died so young and was forgotten by the main character, *and* also had an unrequited love that resulted in Link getting a gameplay boost. She doesn’t really have a chance to progress her story, compared to other characters, so leaving her character like that just makes her a tragedy magnet beyond my preference (and it’s not like her BoTW story isn’t tragic enough…).

But that’s all meta, and arising out of subjective preferences.

As for the relationship itself, there’s so much stuff I love about this pairing, but I’ll only offer two.

First, I think I resonate a *lot* with the interracial nature of MiphLink just from my own experiences and those I know. This OTP come from different cultures, after all, like Aragorn and Arwen, and other ships I like. Different cultures, perhaps different biologies, different abilities (running vs swimming…), and certainly different lifespans a la Aragorn and Arwen from LOTR. Lots of stories to tell, but fundamentally if they got to the point she made him future husband armor, I like to think they accepted each other and their differences. It’s a good way to love and live.

I also love that they’re functionally battle partners; they’re both powerful enough to become Champions of their races, while being so so so young! This isn’t just “I like to pair strong fighters,” though. Given their shared past, I like to imagine that training and fighting is something they worked really hard at and shared with *each other*. It’s a core part of their personalities and probably of their relationship: Sparring, sharing techniques and vocabulary and concepts, perhaps even competitively pushing each other to be their best. Link reaching his peak as a warrior because of his work with Mipha, for instance.
