 *Flashback*

 You whimpered loudly as you pull your hand away from you legs to see it covered in a red substance, at the sound of your distress Jai snapped his head to you and curses under his breath. He quickly started the ignition of the car and rushed down the driveway.

 “It’s going to be fine Babe” Jai reassured you his voice shaky but calm.

You cradled your bulging stomach as you were hit with another intense contraction. You were lucky that your hospital wasn’t far away, and you seemed to have made it there in record time. Jai helped you from the vehicle, your knees buckled as more fluid gushed down your legs, you clung to Jai who upon seeing your distress scooped you up and began yelling at the top of his lungs. “Help! My wife needs help” he frantically looked around searching for someone who could help. A nurse ran towards us and called for a wheelchair, Jai gently lowered you down and into the wheelchair, you grabbed Jai’s hand and held it tightly as you were being pushed into the nearest open hospital room. You fought the tears that threatened to come.

 “Jai” you whimpered loudly as they place a fetal monitor on you.

“I’m right here Darling” he smiled.

 A few moments later an alarm sounded and two nurses and your doctor came in the room, the Doctor quickly scanned the results.

 “The baby is in distress, we need to deliver now, I know this is against your birth plan but this has to happen now” the Doctor informed you.

“I don’t care just save our baby,” you told him as tears stream down your face and Jai confirmed with a curt nod.

 A few minutes later Jai was dressed in scrubs and you were on the table, fearfully and anxiously waiting for Andrew, you could feel tugging and pulling and you heard the nurses and doctors murmuring and then silence, your heart dropped, there shouldn’t be silence, there should be some sort of noise, your mind raced with all the heartbreaking possibilities, breathing became difficult.

 “You’re doing fine, just relax” Jai stroked your forehead.

“Is he ok? Jai can you see him?” you asked him,

 Jai opened his mouth to answer but he was interrupted by a gurgle then a small cry, the cry quickly grew louder, Jai’s eyes water as he peered beyond the curtain then looks at me adoringly.

 “He’s beautiful Baby,” he said pressing his kiss to mine gently,

“Congratulations you have a bouncing baby boy” the Doctor cheered.

Relief flooded your system and a dreamy smile graced your lips as Jai brought Andrew and laid him on your chest, Andrew immediately stopped crying and nuzzled against you, he had a head full of Jai’s curly hair, you looked up to Jai.

 “I love you Jai” you murmured, the words coming out slowly. “Y/N?” Jai’s brows furrowed in concern.

“Her pressure’s dropping” you heard a faraway voice say.

“Y/N can you hear me?” your Doctor called.

“Get him out of here” he then said.

 Jai was calling your name as he was ushered out of the room, your eyelids grew heavy and you couldn’t keep the open anymore.

 *End of Flashback*

 Warm arms wrapped themselves around you and you looked up to see Jai grinning mischievously

 “Hello Gorgeous” he murmured before placing a kiss behind your ear.

“Hey Handsome” you giggled and stroked his forearm.

 You reluctantly broke away from his embrace and grabbed your bathrobe, you were just about to tie it when Jai grabbed the lapels and pulled you against him.

 “What exactly do you think you’re doing?” he questioned his eyebrow lifted as he bit his lip.

“Getting dressed, we have children Jai” you reminded him playfully.

“Ah, see here’s the thing...Princess Charlotte and Aunt Vashti decided it would be fun to have a sleepover with her in the guest house, and Prince Andrew was thrilled by the idea” he once against wrapped his arms around you.

“Oh really?” you questioned him. “Yes, in fact, Aunt Vashti insisted on having them for the weekend” he purred before cupping the back of your neck and bring his lips down to yours.

 After all these years that man could still render you breathless with one kiss, but your insecurities reared their ugly head and you pulled away, your lips red and swollen.

 “Jai” you began and looked down at the floor.

 Jai hooked his finger under your chin and forced you to meet his eyes, he inspected your face like he was sure he’d find a clue as to what you were thinking.

 “Y/N, what’s going on? Why are you hiding from me?” he asked his voice softened by concern.

You bit your lip once again before summoning the courage to tell him.

“I don’t look like I used to” you admitted. “Is that what it is?” Jai chuckled softly.

You nodded and sniffled

  Jai pulled away from you and there was a subtle shift in his demeanor, his eyes darkened as he pursed his lips and let his gaze openly roam your body, your heart fluttered at the adoration and lust in his eyes.

 “I love every bit of you” he confessed as he lowered himself to his knees, his face was level with your abdomen, you lightly hugged your body knowing what he was about to do. He shook his head, he pried your arms open and slowly opened your robe, he licked his lips before he pressed open-mouthed kisses all around your scar, your insides quivered as his hot breath fanned out against the sensitive flesh.

 He slipped his hands inside your robe and palmed both of your breasts, his thumbs taking the time to play with your now aching nipples, he then slipped your robe from your body leaving you naked in front of him.

“I almost lost you” his voice wavered.

 Your mind recalls the morning you woke up in the hospital.

 *Flashback*

 The steady beeps of a heart monitor rouse you from sleep, you blearily opened one eye and have to quickly shut it against the brightness of sun peering through your window, you groaned as you try once more to open your eyes and blinked rapidly willing your eyes to adjust to the light.

 You tried to move your hand but cannot you turn your head to see that Jai was fast asleep in the chair next to your bed, his head lolled to the side, he had dark circles under his eyes. You tightened your fingers around his and he shot awake looking around wildly before his worried gaze falls on you.

 “Darling” he exclaimed as he brought your hand to his lips.

You smile back but it quickly faltered as you remember what happened.

 “Andrew?” you asked him “Is in the nursery, he’s a healthy baby boy, you did so well” he praised stroking your forehead.

“What happened to me?” you asked.

 Jai’s face darkened and his eyes grew watery.

“You lost quite a bit of blood, you almost died” he revealed not meeting your eyes.

“Hey” you spoke softly and forced him to meet your eyes, “I’m still here” you weren’t prepared for him to press his lips to yours so urgently, you giggle loudly.

 *End of Flashback*

 “But you’re still here, and I’m never gonna let you go” Jai vowed as he stands back up and crushes his mouth to yours once again, and this time you don’t fight, his hands grip the globes of your backside and he hauled you against him, the hardness of his erection pressing against you through the thin fabric of his lounge pants.
