After a botched attempt at using the PASIV, the cause of Arthur's recent health issues is revealed to him by Yusuf: to his absolute shock and disbelief, Arthur finds himself pregnant. With Eames’ baby, no less. Not only should this not have happened, ever, but now Arthur has to make some hard decisions about his future, whatever the fuck he has with Eames, and how to deal with the discovery of a whole new world of neuroscience that he was never even aware of, all while dealing with a multitude of pregnancy symptoms and medical tests.

When Eames shows up to Arthur’s new apartment, having moved to Vienna to begin this new life of his and be close to the only team of doctors who have dealt with a situation similar to his before, Arthur’s surprised to discover that Eames’ dirty talk wasn’t just that. As it turns out, Eames is in for the long haul.

"So,” he says, voice a slow purring drawl that crawls over Arthur’s spine like something tangible. “I finally managed to knock you up…” The reaction Arthur has is immediate, visceral almost. A fire starts burning in his gut, his skin draws tight with arousal, cock twitching to life. Getting his knees onto the couch, Arthur crawls towards Eames, pushes him to lie back against the pillows, his chest rubbing over Eames’ groin, thick abs and chest on his way to straddling his hips and laying against him. It’s a very common hc in the fandom but I really like the idea of Eames getting more into extraction after practically carrying the whole Inception job and seeing the evidence of just how good he is after Cobb retires and usually doubling as extractor and forger.
