It is that familiar sensation again, coursing through his veins like a poison. Hot, cold, irresistible, sweet. Talon lowered his gaze, shadowed under the hood, he could feel the hunger, his soul aching for death, the unmistakable pleasure that power granted him. Just like he had felt it, possessed by the blade the day he claimed his first kill. Kavyn had been the first of many.His left hand cradled the right one, feeling his will divided. “Stop.”

“An acquaintance would be an odd way to describe him,” Lord Vladimir said as his own sharp teeth flashed white in a monstrous smile at the thought of Talon being a mere acquaintance. “And yet, it would be accurate. We met only recently.”  He stretched out his hand and let it rest lightly on top of Varus’ head, ruffling the hair as gently as if Varus were a newborn kitten. With the claws that tipped the Blood Lord’s fingers, he had to be careful when he touched others whom he didn’t want to cut. “But there is no reason for you to be jealous of him, kitten, as amusing a thought as that is.” What would a jealous darkin even do? Lord Vladimir was half-tempted to find out. 

"Just because you're disappointed in yourself doesn't mean everyone else is. You've been alive so much longer than me anyway - you must be the original disappointment."

“Any one of these things would please me greatly. Tell me Varus, what can you offer this deity?”

“Says who? Says me. Cause I’m the one that wins. Unlike you. Loser.” Snorts and high fives himself. “Good one Tal.”

There’s a monster in the castle and he is waiting.

Battle Intro: “You? Really? Well then... THIS will be FUN...”Victory: “One more for me, Varus.”Half HP: “Ah, this vessel has potential! Good.”Low HP: “Mmh- Maybe- too much- potential-”Defeat: “Hmph... Next time it won’t be so easy...”Death: “... Why... did you...?”Assist: “Thank you, little brother. Now, we FEAST.”Taunt: “Flimsy-looking, aren’t you. Couldn’t you have picked a better weapon?”Reacting to Taunt: “Yes, yes, shut up. Less talking, more STABBING.”Flee: “Ahh- er... I have... Other things... to do...” (I doubt he’d ever run from Varus, but hey.)Reacting to Flee: “Come now, Varus- do you really think you can HIDE from me?”Tie: “Mmmmhh, well fought... Now that we’re warmed up, we should HUNT together, hmm~?” Perfect Victory: “I think you should reconsider your choice of vessel, brother.”Low HP Victory: “HA! SO CLOSE. So far. So weak.”Finishing Move: "This is going to hurt, haha...”

And chomps down on Varus’ arm all the way up to the elbow. Not hard enough to break anything, just firm enough to keep him held in a very slobbery set of jaws. His eyes narrow as he begins to growl. How dare his arm get in the way of his food.
