Honestly... I HATE people who bitch about Sonic '06 being bad. Most do this because they can't fucking get past Silver or think he is hard as fuck. But, overall, these glitches aren't half as bad as Sonic Adventure's. And, yes, beaten Sonic Adventure last night.

My point stands: Same engine. They have no better engine to use, so they can't do much about problems.

"They have no better engine to use". They're game developers and you're making some awfully big assumptions just so you can excuse a lot of very old problems that should've been fixed years and years and years ago.

Engines are engines. Most games nowadays are made with the unreal engine. Why don't they use that? Well, try to answer that question yourself, if you can. But I doubt you can. Nope, you won't be able to find the answer at all.

Because Unreal Engine is expensive to license and isn't really suitable for making Sonic the Hedgehog games with because of the way texture streaming works. If you want to see Sonic in Unreal Engine 3, there's SonicGDK. And if you get Sonic moving too fast, the framerate bottoms out because the engine can't stream data in fast enough to keep up.
