Water levels are lowering as always expected this time of year, currently 500.11’. Fall and winter are all about the beautifully exposed shorelines and beaches waiting to be discovered. Favorite peninsulas, points, islands, coves and beaches are larger and beckoning explorers to check them out and enjoy. This lovely group had a great time making the most of a gorgeous Autumn day weekend n a beach by the dam. PS - Also, it’s a great time to begin considering maintenance for shorelines and docks. The water is calmer in the fall and winter with less boat traffic, so shore and dock work is a bit easier to accomplish. Plan ahead and get your service and maintenance lined up now before contractor calendars are filled. That way you’ll be way ahead of the game by spring. Be sure to get the @apcshorelines “Smart Lakes” app so you can watch the water level closely from anywhere. 〰️〰️💦〰️〰️ “Wednesday lake days are the best”- 📷 @madison.s.bennett17 〰️〰️💛〰️〰️ #smithlakeshorelines #smithlakecoolpeople #smithlakebeautifulpeople #smithlakethingstodo #smithlakeshores #lake #lakelife #lakeshore #alabama #alabamalakes #smithlakecommunity #lakeside #lewissmithlake #livinglakelife #livelifelakeside #visitsmithlake #smithlakealabama #smithlake #smithlakeal #smithlakemagazine #thelakesidelife (at Lewis Smith Lake) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cj0weA_LYHu/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
