Lotr & The Hobbit-themed Jewelry?
So I’ve been wanting to become a Blacksmith for awhile now, and I’m hoping to apprentice someone soon to fulfill that dream. This Spring, I’m supposed (fingers crossed) to take Community College Classes on Smithing and Metalwork, so in light of that, I have a proposition for you all.
We’re all giant nerds here, and a big reason why I want to become a Blacksmith is to make stuff that mimics that style of Jewelry and Design you see the Dwarves wear in The Hobbit Movies.
I think this stuff looks really cool. This is the kind of Jewelry I want to make, with designs based on The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, like Dwarven or Rohirrim-style Jewelry. I’m not sure if this would even be possible, or at least it may have to be delayed because of Covid19, but here’s my idea.
Once (or If) I become a good enough Blacksmith, would anybody be interested in an Online Store that sells Tolkien-inspired Jewelry, alongside other items?
I’ve always wanted to make an online store, and I’m hoping that most of my stuff will be handmade, so I’m wondering if anyone would be interested in that. Once I start making products that I think are good enough to be sold, I should be able to sell them online. Not saying there’s be very many, but I think it might be doable.
