5. How old is your hero and partner duo? (As in what ages do you see them as?)

I see them both as being whatever their species' equivalent of being around 16/17 years old is. It's just the age that I've usually thought of the protags as: young, but still almost adults and old enough to be out on their own. Celeste specifically was 17 years old as a human before she lost her memories and turned into a pokemon, but she was around 12 years old when she first met Grovyle and started working together with him to prevent the planet's paralysis. She was still rather clever for her age and a decent fighter, able to creatively use throwing items, seeds, and wonder orbs to make up for her inability to use actual moves (she's possibly where Grovyle got his infamous Luminous Orb escape plan from lol), though she also had a dagger for more direct combat
In my mind the main game takes place over the course of a few months, and then there's three more months between Celeste disappearing and being brought back. By that time they'd likely be actual adults, though still very young adults (so definitely still not old enough to be raising a child that hatched from an egg they found in the sea, lol)
12. Do they ever evolve?
Yes, they both do, though not until a few years after they defeat Darkrai. I've discussed this before, but they both have their reservations about evolving for different reasons. Celeste feels anxious about having to adjust to a new form again, while Snow doesn't want to due to having bad memories associated with her evolved form (she has an arc in the story dedicated to her backstory and her strained relationship with her mother and former pack). Celeste and Snow both become aware of the other's hesitation about evolving and resolve to only evolve once they're both ready, and to do it together, which they do!
Celeste is able to adjust to her new form pretty quickly. She's just slightly taller, has two tails now instead of one, and her psychic powers have become stronger. Snow has a bit of a harder time, the biggest hurdle being having to adjust to walking on two legs and also having hands, and the fact she's a lot taller now, especially a lot taller than Celeste (Snow loves poking fun at how much shorter Celeste is now though, especially since Celeste had been the taller of the two before)
Also the first time Grovyle sees Celeste as a Meowstic is kind of a jumpscare for him cause she slightly resembles her human self more after she evolves, oops
