Bryan is such an entertaining speaker. This is one of the first talks I watched of his, but I’ve also watched enough of his SmartOS overviews where I’ve heard his catchphrases a few times.

I know he must be good because after I watch enough of his videos and read his blog posts I occasionally think “Wow, maybe running Solaris with ZFS in production is a good idea”.

Then I come back to the reality that the last time I used Solaris was in school and I have no experience administering or debugging it and the only people I know who do would just as quickly recommend BSD, another OS I haven’t used in the past 10 years.
